Role: Production Accountant
Brief: To create individual show budgets, and make sure that cost reports were maintained accurately and reported effectively. We also had to consolidate the individual accounts into an EMA event budget.
Solution: Budgeting, forecasting and managing this multi-million, multi-currency and multi-show event budget was undoubtedly challenging. We designed and implemented a bespoke cost reporting solution that was used across eight individual events.
Results: By harmonising the accounting function, we were able to communicate current positions quickly and accurately. This meant technical and creative decisions could be made effectively and with confidence.
